It’s quite possible there’s nothing more important in your life than your pets. When it comes to someone we love, we feel a strong desire to do all things to insure their well-being – especially when they’re struggling or in pain.
What we’re looking for is leverage – ways you can “see” your pets and their symptoms that allow you to use simple healing tools you mostly already have at hand. This doesn’t preclude using the tools you’re using now – including asking your Vet for help.
It’s our knowing that approaching healing your pets with an open mind, and applying knowledge you gain, will change your life and the lives of your loved ones. It’s that simple.
How It Works
What is an animal? Fur and feathers? Hoof and claw? Beak and antler? Meat on the table? Puller of heavy loads? Companion under the table?
We must get clearer about animals if we are to heal them. Surely we would not be healing them if this is all they are.
Animals are reflections of humans – a gift from God.
Look carefully at animals to see what is being reflected. Gandhi said you can tell a lot about a civilization by how it treats animals. Since the dawn of humans, we’ve drawn pictures of animals in caves. A favorite literary device in books and movies is personification – the portrayal of the characteristics of humans through animals.
On a more personal level, your pet reflects you. At some level, you chose your pet. Maybe you chose each other.
The point is a simple one: perhaps when you are healed, the reflection of you that is your pet will also heal. As you go about healing yourself, your pet provides an accurate reflection of how you’re doing.
Pets give so much to humans. Is it possible this message, this reflection, is their greatest gift? Is it possible this is a gift from God to humans?
As a perfect child of God, you were created to create the good, the holy, and beautiful. Is there a better answer to the question “What is an animal?” than the good, the holy, and the beautiful?
